Buttered prawns, fish, mutton and chicken satay - all are mouth watering barbeque food that my younger brothers love to eat during these cold night. We were enjoying assumptuos food at my cousins birthday party gathering. My cousin invited his close friends, in-law and her colleagues to celebrate his birthday party over his house for a special gathering barbeque.

After several round of food that I have tried, I decided to step into his house with my younger brothers who were chasing each other. I need to get some air and broke those noises from them. I browsed any suitable TV show or programes for them who were still running about in-house. Or at least I can find some good action movies or discovery channel. Not sure if is still available at this late hours. I pressed the remote and continue my search on what is available.

I was amazed with the multi channels that were available in his TV. There are more than 180 channels to choose from, including digital, sports programming, international and local. Sports fan like myself, can choose any of 30 sports channels to watch and this is superb! My cousin told me that he had subscribed Satellite TV after a friend of his recommended him after showing the tons of shows. Not only that, there are more than 5 programmings - from Sports, Movies to International Programming and which Direct TV are offering in HD.

In addition, the Dish Network offers tons of movie programming with Cinemax and Starz Channels which has unlimited showtime too. Knowing this, I will go for movies which are suitable for my younger brother whom hardly sit still. Direct TV or Satellite TV is what actually I need in this kind of situation where it helps any busy or hyper-active children get glued onto their seats without close observation.

Eeeee....hhh! Yucks! shouted my small little cousin, who just dashed out from her brother's room, cautious holding the Xbox controller. I just stepped into his house with my father and wondered what is all about. I pushed the half-opened door and saw the big screen has lot of blood shed. I knew it, this maddening game of Ninja Gaiden II is much flashier, great impact with full force of actions. Sitting next to him with agony, watched how he smash those werewolves, slice up groups of rival ninjas and demons. The exhilirating effect is superb with showy of explosion of particles and parts of body fell apart. Great for a replay I'm sure, but the effect threw to much serious games to play in that way. Anyway, up to players review differently.

I have no limit of time to play this handheld system. My mum will not lay specify time for me to end any of my game. She knows that PSP games are very addictive. Before I start another gaming post, I am thinking who is the most popular game writer that you have known? Is it Tim Schafer or Scott?

What I knew is tha this guy is an excellent senior game writer and designer who had an education at film school and English degree. His knowledge on how to write screenplays and stage plays has led him to receive a handsome amount of pay that is not less than $45,00 a month together with his vast gaming experience.

The designer of Pandemic Studios that I am referring to is Tom Abernathy. He had successfully created a Hollywood in the 20's game named Saboteur. His job is to design story documents, gameplay-design documents and writing dialogue while working together with other game designers, producers and directors. But Tom are more expertise in the backstory of any games.

Tom Abernathy got his first game job at Activision writing Heavy Gear, a mech-battling PC game. He came with his own samples of writing that game when he got hired onto the project. His idea of bringing more writers came when he became the contractor on Destroy All Humans. He was very dedicated with the job, helped to create worlds, backstories and the basic structure of the game. Soon, he became Pandemic's full-time writer.

Manhunt is taking a similar approach to another Rockstar franchise, Grand Theft Auto. In that lead role will change with every new edition. The publisher has a good reason for the casting changeup. Narratively, they want to explore fresh themes.

In Manhunt 2, players can now crawl and the hunters will grab anybody out of the cramped space if they see you enter. and since the player can now climb and vault obstacles, hunters can do the same. Washbrook even promises more enemy tricks that have yet to be revealed, and that "the changes to the the Al have significantly ratcheted up the tension and suspense. Perhaps the bad guys will turn the tables and perform execution too.

As everbody knows, God of War was directed by David Jaffe who is also a responsible man for reviving up the Twisted Metal Series.

After making so much of story games on PS3, he decided to stop doing big story-heavy games and focus on more pick-up-and-play, casual games. After looking at so much of God of War, he felt that now is the end of how muchhe could really do in that kind of genre and with that kind of goal. He kept agreeing hat designers like Kojima and Miyamoto could propbably has better fuse in storytelling and games than he had.

He added that, games stuff that he loves doing right now was just picking up a controller with a smile on a face spontaneusly. Have fun time with buddies. Yes...that's all. He sounded sick.

Anyway, he respected the achievement that he received in God Of War and as a creative director on franchise with Sony, he knows that he may not want to continue any of God Of War II PSP games.

Keep ALL parts free of dust. Just like a computer, dust can damage PSP components and even the screen. One time, I left my PSP in a dusty place when I went on vacation. When I came back, there was a one inch CRACK on the screen. Buy a PSP case rather than a PSP pouch. A case is hard and a pouch is soft. This means, if you accidentally drop your PSP while it’s in a case, it will survive the fall. Doing this acually guarantees a longer life span for your PSP.

ONLY purhase a memory stick duo that has enough memory for what you need. For example, it’s no use buying a 2 GB Memory stick duo, if you only use the PSP occasionally, and you put like 5 songs and 10 pictures on it. This will save you money and not make you feel as though you wasted money.

Always check the status of your PSP’s battery. You may not know this, but as time goes on battery capacity actually decreases. If you don’t replace the battery at all, it will come to a point where it will only run on the charger plugged into an outlet. So if you notice that battery life is getting shorter, get a new one.

When playing a UMD game, NEVER, under any circumstances attempt to remove the UMD when the game is in session! This will actually corrupt the data on the UMD, and lead to the disk being no longer useable. If you want the remove it, first go to the home page and then remove the disk. This saves the UMD and even parts of the PSP. Always plug in your ac adapter BEFORE doing any firmware upgrading (the countless times i’ve heard of people losing power and bricking their psp is almost untrue!) Make sure to buy memory sticks from reputable online shops or even retail shops, as fake cards are a waste of money and you risk jeopardizing your precious game saves and music!!!

If you want to convert DVDs to play from your memory stick, download DVDFab HD Decrypter 4 and ImTOO DVD to PSP converter. They work very well with each other, the first removes any copyright encrytion from your dvd and store it to your hard drive. Once complete use the ifo file with the ImTOO converter. (You can specify what resolution and even what bit rate your film will be made at, i get my films down to about 400mb at decent quality).

Invest in the SONY PSP media manager 2.5 PRO. It has a backup utility and if you have PSone games downloaded from Playstation Store, you can use it to store these on your PC hard drive.

If you haven’t already got a wireless router get one they make updating and PSP’s much more fun especially playing Killzone Liberation, Worms Open Warefare 2 or wipeout pulse.

I just heard of a new PSP game so called an Old Atari - N+. The game was just release a month agao. I have not play it yet. But the boy whom live next door, being always in advance than me and always catch up on the latest. It looks like a giant puzzle on the screen and the player is controlling the Ninja to get those gold squares till when the Ninja manage to touch the exit switch which is his goal. This sounds very easy and common game but to come near and reach the exit seems like quite hard to make it over. It seems very complicated and dangerous as you play along the terrain. Different level has different platform and the position is so tricky and hard and you may fall to death if you jumped wrongly to reach to different level. Wait till I play this game myself after seeing him struggling with those switch exit which I may have done it better.

Final Fantasy Core VII is a great game with lots of fun and is worth on a every single penny you spent on it or you can just download Final Fantasy Core VII and start playing.

If you play this game which mainly focuses on Zack Fair, a 2nd Class (and later 1st class) SOLDIER, and the events leading up to his destined demise. The player has full control over Zack when moving around, and can rotate the camera. Enemies abound in the field screen, and battles take place in real time.He meets many of the Final Fantasy VII characters, including Cloud Strife and Aerith Gainsborough, with whom he develops strong bonds. The game's storyline takes the player from the war with the Wutai to the events at Nibelheim, and right up to the time just before the Final Fantasy VII beginning.

Gameplay

Crisis Core has action- and menu-based elements. The new battle system is known as Digital Mind Wave, and revolves around a series of reels at the upper left corner of the screen which spin continuously as long as there are Soldier Points left to consume. Each reel rotates independently and upon lining up three reels of the same character and value, a power-up is awarded to Zack.

Enemies can be attacked physically and magically. Spells such as Fire and Cure are located on the command bar. Materia makes a return, fully customizable and in multiple varieties, including green (spells) and yellow (extra commands such as Steal or Sense). In addition, materia can be fused together to enhance one materia's abilities or to make an entirely new materia. The two then steped back to pull a veil away from a screen that revealed the collaboration, Sora May Cry, a new game combining the best of Kingdom Hearts and the Devil May Cry series into a gigantic combat game which Sora must rescue both Kairi and Riku because he is in love with one or both of them. The theme of the game is his feeling that he isn't strong enough to protect them, and he gets amnesia only to discover that he has a special destiny to fight against an ancient foe. The game will also feature dating feature so that between blistering combos, Sora can choose to date Riku, Kairi, Dante, Cloud and Sephiroth.

Transformers: The Game will pack four ad-hoc multiplayer games for you and up to three friends. There's deathmatch, team deathmatch, capture the flag (renamed Secure the AllSpark) and king of the hill (rechristened Ascension Rites) along with ten maps for you to blast your buds on. We tried out one multiplayer arena -- a gray canyon where we had been taking out helicopters and tanks in the single-player campaign -- and the environment seemed a little empty, but there was plenty of action between blowing up an in-level bridge and trying to catch up with Optimus Prime as he rushed the AllSpark back to his base.

Catching AllSpark runners such as Prime will come down to what weapons you're packing. Before the onset of a mission or multiplayer match, players will arm themselves with four weapons from the stockpile they've unlocked in single-player. That might not seem like much, but when used correctly the mix-and-match system can amplify your combat style. The shotgun might be your favorite weapon, but it's not going to do much in a long-range battle. However, arm the EMP as one of your weapons and you can turn the tide in your favor -- incapacitate the opponent with the pulse, run up on him or her and unload your shells.Whereas the home versions of Transformers focus on using your massive robot fists to take out the bad guys (and good guys), the PSP chose to make those four weapons your favorite attack and modified the control scheme to match. The triangle and X buttons will control the pitch (up and down, dummy) of your crosshairs while square functions as attack. On the D-pad, up is your super-powered special move, right cycles through the four weapons you've chosen and down locks on to an enemy. Off topic, you can transform at any time by pressing the left and right triggers together. Besides looking cool, the move provides a welcome burst of speed compared to lumbering around as a giant robot.

Tom Raider Anniversary

Madden NFL 08

Obviously, the addition of the weapons system to this year's game would seem like a big deal. On consoles, this system was basically designed to provide differentiation between specific types of star players.

Using specific icons for each type of player, you could now see the difference between a possession receiver and a big-play receiver, an accurate quarterback and a strong-armed quarterback, a shutdown cornerback and a press-coverage cornerback...you get the idea. On the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, this system was fantastic because you could really see the differences in play between the various types of weapons, and the game itself became about finding mismatches you could exploit on both sides of the ball. Not so much on the PSP version.

There are certainly some base-level distinctions to be made, but for the most part, players play exactly the way they always have in a game of Madden. There aren't those subtle differences in play styles. Sure, you know the difference between a power running back and a speedy running back, but those have always been obvious differences. Beyond being able to spot who on the field is good and who is not so good, and periodically being able to fix a mismatch you might not have otherwise noticed, it doesn't feel like there's much value to the system on the PSP.

Fundamentally, Madden 08 plays the same solid game of football it did last year on the PSP. The running game is pretty well balanced, and the passing game is also good, though perhaps a bit overpowered. On all difficulty levels but the highest, there are basic post routes in which you can pretty much guarantee a big completion just about every time you do them with a good and reasonably speedy receiver. The defensive backs just don't seem to be able to stop these routes with any level of consistency, meaning you can exploit them quite regularly. Defense is relatively untouched mechanically, save for the addition of the new hit stick from the console versions, which lets you specifically decide if you want to hit a ball carrier high or low. None of the other little tweaks to the defensive controls from the console versions, like the ability to focus coverage on a single receiver before the snap, are in this version.
